The design of the CCSU Student Center reaches out to the larger campus by placing the prominent tower, called the "Fez" by students, at the crossroads of two existing axes. Additional brick towers provide visible and prominent entrances that connect to existing green spaces and offer a more defined entrance to the entire University. Holzman Moss Architecture has strived to offer an opportunity for students to build a social community while crafting a scheme that also connects to the surrounding community of buildings that make up the larger campus.
