The design features several prominent episodes; places that provide sequences to discover along the journey of moving through the library. A conical entrance tower beckons the passerby to come in and enjoy what the library holds inside. The tower can be seen from downtown and is equally dramatic at night when the light from inside filters out through the faceted sections of translucent and transparent glazing. Inside the tower, it is easy to identify the circulation desk, information desk, coffee bar and access the library itself.
