The structure when complete will have a single piece, moving orchestra shell enclosure that transforms the stage and fly loft from a tuned musical environment to an open and flexible stagehouse for theatrical events. Once complete, the center will be able to house a symphonic performance one day, night or even afternoon and the next hour host a Broadway-style production. It may be the first of its kind to do both so well, but that is the definition of innovation.
