This project was the key element in the revitalization of downtown Madison and as such it carefully used two distinctly different existing buildings and connects them with new construction. Besides the efficient adaptation of the existing structures, the interior is a showcase of existing materials reconfigured for a new use, including new chandeliers crafted from the parts of fixtures from the existing buildings.
