VISION

Shepherd University, Master Plan
Shepherdstown, West Virginia

Date: 2004 Size: 323 acres

It takes clear vision to imagine a master plan for a 133-year old university split in two by a major roadway. Holzman Moss Architecture worked with Shepherd University to identify a plan that responds to the growing campus population and strengthens the identity of the University and this oldest community in the state of West Virginia. The plan promotes a campus environment that allows for greater density and increase in student population while fostering a more pedestrian oriented campus that respects the larger environment.
